Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Tiny details. Real connection. The beginning of everything.

The days are long, but this season is short.

The newborn days are beautiful, emotional, and gone in the blink of an eye.

One minute they're curled up in your arms, and the next they're outgrowing the tiny outfits you swore would fit forever.

Lifestyle newborn photography is about preserving this fleeting season exactly as it feels—your baby's tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, and the love that already fills your home.

No complicated props. No unnatural posing.

Just your family, your connection, and the story of these first days together.

You don't need a perfectly clean house or a perfectly calm baby.

Your baby doesn't need to sleep the entire session, your toddler doesn't need to sit still., and your home doesn't need to look like an influencer’s.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are designed to embrace real life: all the snuggles, the rocking, the feeding, and the little moments of chaos.

Because someday those moments will be part of the story you'll want to remember.

“Our newborn photos are so beautiful! Amy did an amazing job and her patience is well beyond my expectations. You will not be disappointed! Such a sweet person and a perfect experience!”

The ABP Experience

I know how quickly these days pass.

As a mom myself, I understand that the newborn stage is equal parts beautiful, exhausting, emotional, and short. That's why I've built my newborn experience around what new parents actually need: less stress, more grace, and photographs that feel like your real life.

My approach is rooted in family connection. While we'll absolutely document the tiny details—the wispy hair, the wrinkly fingers, the way they fit perfectly in your arms—I'm just as interested in the people who love them. The little moments between feedings. The way your toddler proudly shows off their new sibling. The look that passes between two parents as they realize their life has changed forever.

Whether your session takes place in your home or in my studio, my goal is to create an experience that feels relaxed, natural, and genuinely enjoyable.

Because years from now, I don't want you to simply remember what your baby looked like.

I want you to remember what it felt like to love them when they were this small.

Your Session, Your Way

In Your Home

There's something incredibly meaningful about documenting your baby where their story begins. We'll typically use spaces with the best natural light—often the nursery, primary bedroom, and living room. Don't worry about cleaning. Open the blinds and let me handle the rest. I'll move what I need and make everything look beautiful in photographs.

Or In My Studio

If you'd rather skip preparing your home, my light-filled studio at the Pajama Factory in Williamsport offers a simple, neutral environment designed specifically for lifestyle portraits. With a cozy bed, soft furnishings, and timeless décor, the focus stays exactly where it belongs—on your family.
